My favorite saying recently has been this quote attributed to a United States military general: “Hope is not a course of action.”
Prayer is an active state of being, for you are engaging the Universe on seen and unseen frequencies to be your ally in your authenticity. God’s will is your will.
Dreams are wishes yet unfulfilled. Without dreams, life can become unbearable for what would it be that you are working towards? Work for God and all your dreams will come true.
Ideas are possibilities worth exploring. Ideas should be given time to fly to see if they can find their own wings. God has already thought of all the ideas and possibilities for you, so know it is in His sandbox you are playing in and you will feel less threatened.
Critical thought can be your ally if given the right place at the table to voice what might be flawed about any impulse you may have. Critique should never be an instrument of control. God does not judge us, but we judge Him when we judge ourselves.
Your feelings about anything inside or outside of you are worth having, they are yours to keep and you should never have to justify them. However, feelings are not facts. Most feelings are rooted in one’s perspective of what ‘seems’ to be happening at any given moment. God always knows your heart.
Which is more important: hope or action?
Action requires faith, a decision, and energy to execute. Hope requires merely a good feeling that something will turn out right. Action is a far more valuable place to be.
But what if your actions are based on a poor decision? God will forgive you as You forgive yourself for making what AT THAT TIME appears to be a mistake.
Isn’t faith hope? Can God be proven to such a degree that no faith is required? Faith is not hope. Hope places its wish with a false god. Faith places its wish with the One-God.
How can we tell a false god from a real God? A false God invites fear and hope. God fosters only Love and certainty.
What is done in the name of the True God not of Love comes not from God but from man. Show me anywhere that God asks for anything but Love and I will show you a false god.
If God is You, and You are God, placing your faith in God only means you place your faith in yourself.
You need not set a course based in hope for your journey home. Your journey home is assured. You need not hope for what has already happened.
